I think Bowa kind of backtracked on the Dan Patrick Show, he actually said that if he was in Ed Wade's shoes, he would have done the same thing.

I guess Bowa's thoughts are that the Phils brass knew going into the year that he only had one more chance, and he feels they should have told him that. But, if he thinks Ed Wade did the right thing in firing him, shouldn't he have known he had only one more chance without them telling him?

Actually, if you've listened to what Bowa has said, in Dan Patrick's ESPN radio interview, for instance, I think you'd come to the conclusion that he basically agrees with you. I don't think he's whining, but you also can't exactly expect anybody who has been fired to be happy with the decision.

Surely Larry has been around long enough to know that when a highly hyped team doesn't make the playoffs, the first head on the chopping block belongs to the undistinguished manager. All of his whining makes him look even more clueless.
